| In Memory of George Perrin son of Charles Perrin Born April the 29th 1808 And departed this life August the 13th 1826 |
| Charles Perrin, my great-great-great-grandfather, was born August 20, 1765 in Bedford County, Virginia to John Charles and Mary Baber Perrin. He married Catharine Jameson in 1795 in Franklin County, Virginia. Charles and Catharine moved to Garrard County, Kentucky with his parents before the 1810 census. They had 8 children: Abner B., Eliza, William J., John, Thomas Jameson, George, Isaac Newton, and James Madison. By 1820, they were living in Logan County, Kentucky. Charles, Catharine, Abner, Eliza, and George are buried at Perrin Cemetery in Logan County. John is reported to be buried in the family cemetery but no stone has been found for him. William J., Thomas J., Isaac N., and James M. came to Texas. |
