| Mary Elizabeth Perrin |
| Mary Elizabeth Perrin was born June 27, 1826 to William and Dycea Kerby Perrin, the fourth of ten children. She married Dr. John S. Huffman, Jr. in 1848, and they had 10 children as well. They settled near Rowlett in Collin County. Dr. Huffman served as a surgeon in the CSA enlisting in July 1863. He died June 22, 1865 after returning home with his health completely broken. They are buried in the Rowlett Creek Cemetery in Collin Co. along with John's father. They were LBJ's great grandparents. |
