Rev. E. G. Wilcox was born May 28, 1887
and died March 18, 1940 in Recife, Brazil
and was buried in the English Cemetery
there.  The following verse is inscribed on
the lower part of his monument.
"Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me."

They were Southern
Baptist Missionaries
assigned to Brazil.
They were appointed
on July 15, 1920 and
served until his death
in 1940.

On Sept. 29, 2007, a family reunion was held in
Burnet, TX.

Dorothy Wilcox Myers passed away on August 3, 2007 at age 90. Lorene Wilcox Vermillion passed away on
March 7, 2009 at age 86.  Juanita Wilcox Dickson passed away on May 26, 2012 at age 94.
Dorothy is buried next to her husband,
Charles, and her mother at Elmwood
Memorial Park in Abilene, Texas.
Juanita is buried next to her husband,
Charlie, at Cook Walden Memorial Hill
Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Lorene is buried at New Hope
Cemetery in New Hope, Texas.
